Walked this a.m. When I got out there, I saw 2 squirrels. Then I saw 2 more, and in all, about 8. They all saw me and took off. It was a squirrel convention. In my back yard. Who knew? Then on my next lap, something smaller than a squirrel took off across the field into the brush pile in the center of the yard. It finally dawned on me it was a rat. It was about an 8 inch long rat. Yuck. That brush pile needs to come down. Who knew there was so much nature in my backyard when I was not looking? :)
pretty uneventful day... I was afraid this project would confirm the fact that my life is boring....I was right...and only half way through!!
