First day back to school...back to routine. Boys to school. I worked. There was actually work today. I took yesterday off....looks like everyone did too. PLENTY of work today.

Woke up when Ty was getting ready for work this a.m. but did not get up until 8-ish. Got a shower, gave Addie and bath and combed her hair out...an ordeal because it has not been done in the last day or so . Ty will wash it, but then towel dries it and it just knots back up when you do that. Anyway, we took her to Mom's after picking up Pat and then then boys and I went to see the latest Harry Potter. It was good!

Took Travis home, took Patrick to Rosa's for lunch. Travis had some friends over. Dropped Pat off after getting him a slurpee, then went to get Addie at mom's. Went to grocery store, then home and i made shrimp alfredo for dinner (from scratch...yum!). It was pretty good!

did a little bit of project life...went to bed. Lots of work for tomorrow....

Made taquitos for breakfast. did laundry and folding/putting away. Jake came over after noon. I spent most of the day doing the laundry...for late lunch/early dinner, took all the kids to Cici's. On the way home, dropped Pat off at Preston's (he came with us). He ended up spending the night. Jake went home shortly after we got home.

Went to bed late...no work tomorrow!

Saturday, January 1, 2011 Happy New Year!

Wow...another year is here. Got up late this a.m. I forgot to set the TIVO for the Rose Bowl parade that the ALL BIRDVILLE BAND was marching in today...and it was 10:39 am when we remembered. Travis said his friends said they would be on at 10:40 so we turned it on, but it turns out they were on around 10:15 so I missed it. I sent the recorder anyway, but we missed it. I'll find some info on it later and post.

Ty went and got donuts then took Travis out for some drive time. I got some stuff together and went to a crop at Jackie's house, after making a quick stop at Michael's. I worked on the "Austin" album from Patrick's field trip last year. it'll be plain, but it'll get done! :)

Came home and made dinner and watched some of the new Oprah Network that went on air today.

guess all the Xmas stuff will come down today. Time to declutter. I'm going to pick 1 room each month and hopefully by the end of this year...the house will be decluttered.

11. Laundry room
12. Sunroom.

1 room a month. Hall will just be the closet - go through linens and games and get rid of what we don't need.

Friday, 12/31/10

Out of work this morning. Travis had drive time at 10 that he forgot about, so they called and I took him up there late. After his drive time, we ate lunch at Bosses pizza in Keller. Went back home and worked some more, then went to Kohl's to use my $10 Kohl's cash. While there, a woman stopped me and said she was going to "pay it forward" and gave me her $20. in Kohl's cash. I got Addie about 5 or 6 pair of pants, a "racer Barbie" that she had picked out, and got me a couple of shirts, and paid about $24. My savings was over $120. good day! :)

Back home and back to work until 7, then took the kids and went to Mom's to play games. Also stopped at Kroger and got some stuff for Rotel dip and made that at her house.

We were home before midnight. After we got the kids settled, Ty and I watched "Fireproof" from Netflix. I was told I should watch it with him. It's basically about living your life and your marriage through God. Good show. Terrible acting. Went to bed after 2.

very uneventful New Years Eve. might be the last time Travis stays home on NYE!
